Alan has over 30 years of financial experience within the engineering industry. He occupied a senior financial role within the group of companies from which MAN Diesel acquired the nucleus of its Australian business in 2000.

Taking the opportunity to join MAN Diesel at its formation in Australia, Alan has been instrumental in consolidating the business, centralising the operation and helping it grow to become the force that it is today. As well as ensuring the company's finances run smoothly, and supporting the sales force in their endeavours, a key motivator for Alan is maintaining a positive working environment for employees and visitors alike. He is always keen to accept and drive change for the benefit of both Company and staff - a stance reflected in the rewards to MAN Diesel & Turbo of low employee turnover.

A self-confessed sports fanatic, Alan has lived with his wife Carol on the Central Coast of New South Wales for many years and proclaims Avoca Beach to be the best beach in the region. Carol and Alan have three children.
