In 1999, MAN Diesel was awarded a contract by UNELCO (part of the Suez group) to supply and install two 9L32/40 diesel generating sets in Tagabe, Vanuatu.

The Australian Shipbuilder Tenix Defence selected MAN Diesel 12VP185 and 12V28/33D engines to power a fleet of Patrol Vessels for the Royal New Zealand Navy's fleet replacement program. The order received by MAN Diesel Australia covers the propulsion diesels, gearboxes, diesel generators and the propulsion system integration for all the Patrol Vessels.

MAN Diesel PrimeServ was awarded the contract to relocate six second-hand Mirrlees engines, totalling 18MW, from an outdoor storage yard in PNG into a newly built extension to the existing stand-by power plant in Lae, PNG.
